(Playbox) will exhibit at Vision AI Expo 2025, a specialized exhibition on image recognition AI, to be held at Makuhari Messe from June 11 (Wed.) to 13 (Fri.), 2025. This year, Playbox will demonstrate and exhibit "mcmot," an open source multi-camera person tracking system that utilizes the company's edge AI camera "THINKLET® Cube" in the booth of Fairy Devices Corporation, which has strengths in voice and spatial recognition technologies.

Exhibit Service: MCMOT

MCMOT (Multi-Camera Multi-Object Tracking) is an open-source processing system that realizes highly accurate human tracking in real-time by utilizing multiple IP cameras and Fairy Devices' edge AI camera, THINKLET® Cube. MCMOT's source code will be fully released on GitHub under a commercial-use license, allowing for free customization and functionality expansion according to the application.

  • Highly accurate person detection with RFDETR (Real-time DEtection TRansformer)

  • Trajectory tracking within a single camera with DeepSORT algorithm

  • Integrated tracking of person IDs across multiple cameras with ReID (Re-ID) technology

  • Media Server/GStreamer → Video synchronization and integration

  • WebRTC + FastAPI → Low latency AI processing server

  • React application → Real-time monitoring interface

  • Attendance management and behavior analysis (employee entry/exit, flow line analysis)

  • Human flow analysis and congestion management (management of areas such as offices and event venues)

  • Security monitoring (intrusion detection in off-limits areas)

About THINKLET® Cube (Fairy Devices)

THINKLET® cube is a programmable camera device with LTE / Wi-Fi, one wide-angle camera and five microphones, and runs on battery power. It can run applications for Android. Compatible with the THINKLET® wearable device, the device can leverage the software assets of the THINKLET®.
